NDIS
ECRH provide Exercise Physiology under the National Disability Scheme (NDIS) for those who are self-managed or plan managed. At ECRH we take the time to understand each participant, their needs and how the disability affects their health and quality of life.
Our goal is to support participants in working towards their NDIS goals through participation in regular, structured, and safe exercise supervised by our Exercise Physiologists.
Exercise Physiology can assist in improving overall quality of life through:
- Improving physical strength, functional capacity which gives our clients an increased ability to complete activities of daily living
- Managing of mental, psychological and intellectual health conditions through regular physical activity and movement.
- Increasing social and community engagements
- Reducing the risk of developing co-morbidities and increased vitality
Exercise Physiology services can include both Individual and or Group Supervised Exercise Physiology sessions targeting the needs and goals of the individual and their condition. Sessions are either conducted in our Warners Bay clinic, client home’s in Lake Macquarie or Newcastle.
